David McPherson is a native of New Orleans and graduate of Carnegie Mellon University. His education includes formal programs in architecture and digital media as well as numerous workshops in sculpture, drawing and painting. He lived for 15 years in Los Angeles, immersed in the downtown art scene, with showings at the Brewery Art Lofts events as well as the South LaBrea Gallery. He returned to New Orleans in 2013 and currently lives in the French Quarter where the historic architecture and vibrant neighborhoods along the river have influenced recent work. He opened the studio at 1029 Royal Street in September of 2020.
